What story are your clothes telling?

Woke up. Put a long sleeve tshirt & tennis shoes on. Realized it was already gross outside and IMMEDIATELY changed my outfit.

Did you know that statistics state that 96% of a woman’s confidence comes from the clothing she wears? Did you put on something that you felt confident in today? Think about your identity in God in the clothing that you put on. Think about the holiness in your heart that your clothing reveals. We were created to please God. We are called to be examples. We are set apart, chosen, a royal priest hood, peculiar. Q: Is my outfit revealing a mind of Christ and a “mood” that reflects Christ? *asking myself these questions too, TRUST ME friends*

News flash: it is OKAY to not be in the best mood. But what we wear can affect that even more and scripture tells us to think otherwise: “Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are TRUE, whatsoever things are HONEST, whatsoever things are JUST, whatsoever things are PURE, whatsoever things are LOVELY, whatsoever things are of GOOD REPORT; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on THESE things.”

Edited to Add: when I was dealing with anxiety really bad in 11th-12th grade and a few years after I graduated HS, my dad used to text me that scripture OFTEN. So it holds a special place in my heart.
